Mark McArdle is a senior technology executive and cybersecurity expert, with over two decades of leadership in Silicon Valley and Waterloo Region. Most recently, Mark was the Chief Technology Officer of eSentire, a cybersecurity company headquartered in Cambridge, ON. He is currently providing advisory services to growth-stage technology companies, PE firms and VCs.

Mark served at Communitech as an Executive in Residence and mentored a portfolio of startups.  He is an experienced board member, and has served as an advisor to Canada’s Federal Privacy Commissioner. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and the Ivey Business School's Executive Program at the Western University.  He holds 6 patents in the field of cybersecurity.  When he’s not trying to figure out better ways to stop hackers, he can usually be found at a race track.
