In addition to the practical skills gained from learning her business from the ground up, Hasenfratz holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business, both at the University of Western Ontario.

Hasenfratz was recently named chair of Next Generation Manufacturing (NGM) Canada, a coalition of more than 140 advanced manufacturing and technology companies and public-sector entities in the Toronto-Waterloo Corridor. She is an outspoken advocate for women in leadership positions in engineering and business.
