Designed for senior execs, founders, investors and entrepreneurs, Beyond Impact: True North @UWaterloo offers hands-on experiences, tours and interaction with top talent. Participants will connect with cutting-edge researchers and startups in areas including AI, quantum computing, autonomous vehicles and more. Attendees will learn about the University’s unique approach to entrepreneurship, commercialization and intellectual property, as well as its Global Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Innovation (GEDI) initiative, and world-renowned cooperative education program.

The program consists of two sessions and an interactive networking experience:

Interactive Student and Research Experience
Engineering 5 Sedra Student Design Centre
Interact with student design teams and lead researchers on disruptive technologies, including autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones and Waterloop, a student team finalist in Elon Musk’s SpaceX hyperloop challenge.

Beyond Impact: UWaterloo’s role in the innovation ecosystem
Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum Nano Centre
This panel discussion will uncover what makes the University of Waterloo unique. Hear from its leaders, partners and alumni, and network with Waterloo tech startups and industry partners to share challenges and opportunities.
